Kelvin is the Founder, CEO and Head Animator of Sirnare Company Limited.

Prior to starting his own animation business, he held several key positions with notable design companies.

For 3 years, he was a Managing Partner and Creative Director at Absolute Media Pictures where he led the animations and design teams. He was also an Art Director for two years at Go Creations, and was part of the team that created the popular kids animation; ‘Tinga Tinga Tales’. Straight from college, Kelvin worked at Msensal Fashion House as a Fashion Illustrator, an experience he describes as ‘bold and fun’.

Armed with over 10 years of animation and design experience, Kelvin founded Sirnare Animation Studio, to focus on his passion.

He fiercely champions Sirnare’s vision, ‘To be the number one animation studio in Africa’, which is evident in the animation projects created under the brand.

In addition to his animation work experience, Kelvin has served as Chairman of the Association of Animation Artists of Kenya for a full term, and is a member of One Touch Media (onetouchmedia.net).

In his extensive animation experience, Kevin has developed expertise in most animation software including; Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Cinema 4D, Autodesk Maya, Draftsmanship, Autodesk Premiere among others.

His passion clearly revolves around animation technology because even when he is not working on clients’ projects, he can be found reading up on technology, film, photography, comics or listening to music. He also mentors to several upcoming animators in his spare time.

Kelvin holds a Diploma in 3D and 2D animation from Shang Tao Media Arts College.

Ian leads the graphics design team at Sirnare.

Prior to his appointment, Ian handled graphic design for Fountain Television, where he not only created visual content for television but also for the social media properties. Before then, he worked at Box House Media as a graphic designer and video editor.

All this experience, coupled with his passion for the visual audio media forms make him a terrific graphics design team lead, a role which he carries out with immeasurable zest.

Some of Ian’s greatest achievements include working on the graphics for the national Kalasha awards, an annual event held in the film industry. He has also worked in the local music industry as a video editor and created countless promotional images for individual artists and corporate events.

Ian is a multi-talented artist that can create any illustration, with expertise in software such as Premier Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator Pro, Davinci Resolve, Cinema 4D among many others.

In his spare time, Ian enjoys performing arts, writing scripts and designing comics.

Not only does Ian have many years of experience in graphic design, he is also a trained media journalist with a college diploma from Inoorero University, and holds certification from Spire Education.

Grace is an experienced professional video editor who brings amazing energy to the Sirnare team.

She has an insatiable hunger for learning new techniques, technologies, software and trends in video editing and production, and will be the likeliest of anyone at the office to get the hang of new editing software.

In the past, Grace worked with local musicians to shoot and edit their music videos, and her work stands as testament of her skills. She has also worked in production and script writing, making her an all rounded animations expert.

In her last position, Grace was in charge of the video shooting team, managing different props and equipment, but her real passion lay in video editing, which is how she ended up at Sirnare. She is a perfect fit for her current role as video editor at Sirnare, and brings an incredible balance to the team.

When she is not working, she enjoys singing and travelling to exotic destinations.

Aside from having extensive experience in video editing, Grace has a higher diploma in 3D animation and VFX from the ShangTao Media Arts College, and has also studied music at Daystar University.
